We’ve received interest in using roons kits as part of computer science curricula. This is something we want to develop, and your input would help us tailor a dedicated roons program for education.

If you’re looking to get a bunch of kits for your students, please drop us an email at teaching@whomtech.tech. At the very least, we’ll be able to arrange a discount. It also helps us to hear what specific things you’d be thinking about when using roons in the classroom — for example, this might include:

Class sizes, age ranges, the general format of how you might use the kits
Software/hardware interaction; how useful a robust simulator is vs doing everything purely with physical kits
Whether you’d be interested in having your students partially/wholly build kits themselves (e.g. in shop class, DT, etc) vs using pre-built kits
Why you’re not already using the far superior Turing Tumble
Devices/components that strike you as particularly useful and/or ways you’d want to use them
Any general thoughts you have on things we should be doing, or doing better
